    Baghdad - conscious - Nassar al-Hajj
Member of Parliament, Representative Ahmed Al-Rubaie, confirmed today, Monday, that there is no movement on the ground to launch a new salary scale for employees.
Al-Rubaie told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "There are many appeals to parliament members regarding the issue of launching a new salary scale for employees to address the differences."
He added, "Some deputies, as a result of these appeals, submit communications to the concerned authorities and give notice to the presidency of the Council in order for the issue to be adopted and discussed seriously."
He stressed, "So far, there is nothing on the ground in the House of Representatives about it, or its official adoption, or the collection of signatures, or other such matters."
The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced, earlier, that the Civil Service Law will regulate the controls and conditions related to bonuses and promotions and the unification of the salary scale and allocations between ministries, while calling for the unification of employee allocations.
