Yesterday, Monday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee reassured the farmers who market crops about their entitlements, noting that the Emergency Support Law for Food Security and Development guarantees these funds and provides food items for 12 months. The head of the committee, Hassan Al-Kaabi, said in a speech during the committee’s meeting on the draft law: “The importance of the emergency support law for food security and development comes from the international situation that the world is going through from an economic crisis and high food prices, especially since the official supplier of wheat and some other food crops is from Russia.” And Ukraine is up to 50%.”
