    In order to achieve the comprehensive development of the capital, Baghdad, and the importance of the industrial sector, which is the main material for the advancement of the investment process, as it is the mainstay of economic development, which works to supply the national product, introduce it locally and export it abroad. Within this sector, which amounted to more than (44) vacations since its establishment until today, as the importance of these projects lies in their direct contact with the movement of the national economy and the wheel of development as well as the role of these large projects in the employment of local manpower in addition to their introduction of foreign expertise to the local market and their twinning with Iraqi experiences. And in line with the orientations of the Iraqi government program, which was adopted by the Prime Minister, Mr. (Mustafa Al-Kazemi) to restore the prestige of the Iraqi industry and raise the slogan (Made in Iraq).

    1_ Factory for the production of soft drinks, healthy water and juices (Dijla Factory) in the industrial area / Oweirig..
    2_ Modern Paints Company for the production of paints.
    3_ The International Laboratory for the Production of Industrial and Medical Gases Limited in the Industrial Zone / Owairig.
    4_ Rehabilitation of the factory for the production of concrete beams for railways in Abu Ghraib.
    5_ Sanitary paper production plant in Al-Wahda district.
    6_ Al-Rowad Factory for the production of electrical cables in Queres.
    7_ Cement production and concrete pouring in the industrial area / Oweirig.
    8_ Factory for the production of plastic grooved pipes in Taji.
    9_ Water purification and bottling plant and the production of juices and soft drinks (the sparkle of the pearl) in the Al-Amiriya area.
    10_ Iron and steel plant in Nahrawan.
    11_ Rehabilitation and development of the Light Industries Company (Ishtar Mark) in the Industrial Zone / in Zafaraniya.
    12_ Factory for the production of air filters for gas turbines / in Al-Amriya area - Hittin district.
    13_ The project of manufacturing electrical equipment for high and medium pressure, structures and box stations / in Awirig.
    14_ Plastic pipe production plant (special work for plastic industries) in the industrial area / in Zafaraniya.
    15_ Rehabilitation and operation of the Baghdad Tobacco and Cigarette Factory in Albu Shuja’a / Karrada.
    16_ The Iraqi Factory for Pharmaceuticals / in the New Baghdad area.

    It is mentioned that these projects have greatly enriched the Iraqi economy and restored confidence in the national product and made it at the forefront due to its advanced levels of success that compete with imported goods with the offer that there are many projects that are still under implementation and at advanced rates, and others are in the process of completing official approvals with sectoral authorities according to of the law.
