The Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, confirmed, on Tuesday, that the report submitted by the government during his assumption of responsibility as the Deputy Minister of Finance regarding breach of trust is the first in 17 years and included 400 pages and was sent to the judiciary.
Abdul-Jabbar added, in a press conference followed by "Mawazine News", that "the Director General of Taxes and other cadres have been exempted against the background of the issue of tax trusts."
For her part, Acting Minister of Finance Hiyam Nemat Mahmoud confirmed during the press conference that “the ministry continues to cooperate with the judicial authorities in the issue of tax trusts, and its doors are open to the concerned authorities in this matter and is fully prepared to meet any requirements to reveal the facts.” Ended 29/R77
