    Economy News - Baghdad
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Labor announced plans for the unemployed university graduates, while it clarified about loans for business incubators.
The director of the Labor and Vocational Training Department in the ministry, Raed Jabbar Nahed, said that "the ministry has a set of plans for developing the capabilities of the unemployed and putting them in training courses that help build their capabilities with the competencies required in the market, especially university graduates who do not have experience."
Nahed added that "there is a condition for all companies operating in the private sector, whether they are foreign, investment, or the local sector, which includes employing 50% of the local workforce within their projects."
Regarding loans for the unemployed, Nahed stated that "the ministry continues to grant soft loans to the unemployed in order to establish small projects, which are interest-free and last for five years," according to the official news agency.
He continued, "There is another program, which is business incubators for people with creative ideas, where the loan amounts to 20 million Iraqi dinars," stressing that "the ministry seeks to enhance the fund's capital for the purpose of granting the largest amount of soft loans."
