Shafaq News / Today, Monday, the Central Bank of Iraq instructed the banks participating in the salary settlement project to implement a number of work mechanisms, indicating that they will work on the integrity and stability of the Iraqi payment system.
The Vice President of the Central Bank, Ammar Hamad Khalaf, said in a document addressed to the banks participating in the salary settlement project to work on reforming the salary payment mechanism system, which was obtained by Shafaq News Agency, "The programs of the salary settlement project are not merged with the cash withdrawal service, and it is not included in any of the offers submitted." before you".
The document added that “the commission for cash withdrawals through cash withdrawal machines is fixed and amounts to (6) thousand dinars, with a minimum of (2000) dinars.
Another document signed by the vice president of the bank added that "the validity period of the electronic payment card that will be issued to the beneficiaries of the salary localization project is (3) years as a minimum."
The bank added, "The short message service will be optional, and the spending authorities will be informed of the amount and time of deduction, provided that the beneficiary's written consent to benefit from the service is obtained."
While the bank set commissions for managing the account and salary combined with a maximum limit of (2000) dinars per month, and the commission for issuing the electronic payment card for the first time (15,000) dinars, and the commission for re-issuing it at (25,000) dinars, and renewing it at (15,000) dinars.
