    The representative of the Saud Al-Saadi Rights Bloc affirmed the existence of a broad popular will to support the parliamentary movement, demanding that the government be compelled to join the Belt and Road Initiative with China.
    Al-Saadi said in a press interview, “We have recently witnessed a wide and encouraging popular will from all segments and from various governorates to activate the Chinese agreement, which constituted an incentive and support for our parliamentary efforts, which crystallized in collecting the signatures of 60 deputies to issue a binding decision for the government to join the development and economic belt and road project.” Silk Road), especially since it imposed itself on the world with the participation of more than 180 countries, according to what was stated by the Chinese ambassador in Baghdad.

    Al-Saadi indicated that Iraq would not want to join the Belt and Road development initiative with China, in order to continue the collapse and devastation, stay on the sidelines, and not benefit from its wealth and human energies and invest in its strategic location, But the source of strength to face these challenges is the great public that will wish to join Iraq and obligate the legislative and governmental authorities to conclude the agreement and non-compliance for the external rejection of any country.
