Nassif calls for the appointment of contract employees in the Ministry of Municipalities

Today, Saturday, Representative Alia Nassif called on the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance to instruct contract employees in the Ministry of Municipalities ( formerly Sons of Iraq / Sons of the Awakening ) who have been awaiting confirmation for 15 years, just like their peers in other ministries.
Nassif said in a statement, " This segment suffers from injustice because they have been waiting for confirmation for 15 years, and among them are elderly people who sat in their homes without a pension, and some of them died and their families did not receive a pension, while the rest of the ministries installed their contract employees, such as electricity, higher education and health." And the environment, with the exception of the Ministry of Municipalities, bearing in mind that only employees of new contracts ( who have passed two or three years ago ) were confirmed, while the old ones were denied confirmation .
And she added that " these employees are attributed to the Baghdad governorate, and their files have been uploaded dozens of times from the governorate, and the provision of financial allocation for them has been supported, but it seems that the Ministry of Finance has not agreed to confirm them yet . "
Nassif appealed to " the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance to confirm them, since most of them have limited income and support their families . "
