Shafaq News/ The director of Erbil International Fair, Hassan Sami announced, on Monday, that a plan is being prepared to hold nine exhibitions in which more than 500 companies from 30 countries will participate, indicating that the aim is to develop the economic infrastructure of the Kurdistan Region and rebuild Iraq.
Sami said during a press conference attended by Shafaq News Agency, "As part of the exhibition management program for the current year, 9 international exhibitions will be held, starting from next March until December."
He added, "Among them is the Built Expo Erbil, which is an international exhibition for industry and energies, in which more than 500 companies from 30 countries participate, in addition to the participation of the relevant ministries in the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government, in addition to more than 200 businessmen and investors, and its activities will begin next May." It will last for five days."
And Sami indicated that "the aim of holding exhibitions is to develop the economic infrastructure of the Kurdistan Region, as well as the reconstruction of Iraq."
