The Iraq Stock Exchange trades shares worth 26 billion dinars within a week

Shafaq News/ The Iraq Stock Exchange announced, on Thursday, the trading of shares with a value of more than 26 billion Iraqi dinars, as it organized several trading sessions during the third week of January.
According to the weekly trading indicators of the Iraqi market for securities, the number of shares traded during this week amounted to more than (25) billion shares, while the value of shares traded this week amounted to more than (26) billion dinars.
The trading index in the market closed for the first session of the week at (597.27) points, while the index closed at the end of the week at (606.56) points, achieving an increase of (1.53%) from its closing at the beginning of the session.
During this week, more than (3100) buying and selling contracts were executed on the shares of companies listed in the market.
The Iraq Stock Exchange announced last week that 37 billion shares were traded at a value of more than 20 billion dinars this week.
