    Jordan announced today, Wednesday, that Iraq was the third largest importer of Omani industry during the past two months of the current year 2023.
    The Amman-Jordanian Chamber of Industry stated, in a report seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the chamber's exports to countries of the world during the past two months of the current year 2023 amounted to 1.273 billion Jordanian dinars, compared to 1.057 billion Jordanian dinars for the same period last year."
    The Chamber added that the exports of Jordanian industry products, which are spread in most regions of the Kingdom, reach more than 142 markets around the world as a result of the export of 1,400 various commodities, and indicated that India, the United States, Iraq and Saudi Arabia acquired the majority of the Amman Chamber of Industry’s exports, recording a value of 610 million Jordanian dinars, indicating that India came It ranked first in imports from Jordan with 238 million dinars, followed by the United States with 195 million dinars, and Iraq came third with 137 million dinars, then Saudi Arabia fourth with 120 million dinars.
    Amman Industry stated that the Arab countries came in the forefront in the Chamber’s exports to it, with a value of 471 million dinars, while the non-Arab Asian countries came with 455 million Jordanian dinars, and the African countries came with about 9 million dinars, and North America with 203 million dinars.
    She explained that the Chamber’s exports during the past two months of the current year 2023 were distributed to the mining, chemical, cosmetic, engineering, electrical and information technology sectors, in addition to the exports of the catering, food, agricultural, livestock and therapeutic industries, medical and leather supplies, and other industries.
    It is noteworthy that Iraq imports most goods and commodities from neighboring countries, especially Turkey and Iran, after Jordan was a large market for Iraq in the nineties of the last century, during the period of (the economic blockade on Iraq).
