Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani stressed, on Sunday, that he will not tolerate any defect that may cause the people's money to be exploited.
In his speech at the Baghdad Dialogue Conference, Al-Sudani said, "Iraq has regained its natural position as an incubator for dialogues," stressing that "the government has drawn an ambitious program for the advancement of Iraq and is determined to restore it to its natural position."
He added, "We gave the private sector an important role, and we will not tolerate any defect that may cause the people's money to be exploited," noting that "Iraq has the ingredients for advancement."
The prime minister continued, "The corruption pandemic is a major battle," considering that "the biggest challenge is restoring the citizen's confidence."
