    The Investigations Department of the Commission announced the implementation of arrest operations in the Basra Governorate Court and a number of hospitals in the governorate, while it indicated that 8 suspects were arrested during 4 operations. [/rtl]

    [rtl]The department indicated, according to a statement issued by the authority, that “seizing a tender file for the establishment of (4) oxygen laboratories in hospitals (Al-Qurna, Al-Madinah, Al-Shifa, and Al-Basra Education) in The contract concluded by the Basra Governorate Office / Accounts Department with a company at a cost of (2,215,000,000) billion dinars because there were financial and administrative violations in the contract and others that accompanied the implementation, and undue sums of money were spent to the execution company, despite the withdrawal of work from it.  [/rtl]
    [rtl]And she added, “The work of the Basra Investigation Directorate team in auditing and follow-up detected violations of the contract for supplying and installing (4) oxygen tanks in hospitals (Basra Teaching, Zubair, and Al-Sadr Education) with a value of (490,000,000) million dinars," noting that "the implementation procedures took place before signing the contract." between the governorate and the executing company, because there is a prior agreement between the two parties.  [/rtl]
    [rtl]And she continued, “In the medical committees in the governorate, two employees were seized, and (57) notebooks, documents, and a record for examining applicants for appointment and examining driving, after checking the completed forms and comparing them with the cut- off receipts resulted in the presence of large financial differences," explaining that "we were not found." On some receipts, in addition to trying to hide the records from the Directorate's work team, stressing that after checking the numbers of applicants for examination with the number of receipts cut off, the defendants brought an amount of (10,000,000) million dinars, which was in the personal car belonging to one of them, and handed it over to the team that kept the amount with the head of the committee according to a record of receipt and reservation.  [/rtl]
    [rtl]And she added, "her staff seized an employee at Al-Shifa General Hospital, for forging receipts of receipts belonging to applicants for appointment, and he received (25) thousand dinars for each receipt for his personal interest, while (5) defendants were arrested responsible for managing beauty centers and clinics, one of whom is of Arab nationality; For practicing work without official leave, although some of these clinics were previously closed according to judicial decisions,” warning of “the negligence of the competent authorities to follow up on their closure.”[/rtl]
