    Baghdad today - Erbil
Today, Monday, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Wafaa Karim, revealed an upcoming visit by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani to the Kurdistan region, which may be at the end of this week or early next week.
Karim told (Baghdad Today) that "90% of the discussions that will be discussed by Al-Sudani's meeting with officials in the region include putting the final touches to the oil and gas law."
He added, "The agreement that took place between Baghdad and Erbil during the visit of the head of the regional government, Masrour Barzani, to the capital, was temporary, and therefore there is a great understanding to approve the oil and gas law, which is supposed to be presented to parliament for a vote next month."
Earlier, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Burhan Al-Sheikh, confirmed that the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, requested mediation from the Prime Minister of the Federal Government, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, to resolve the differences between the two Kurdish parties .
The Sheikh told (Baghdad Today), "The Patriotic Union welcomes dialogue and mediation from any side, led by the federal government, and we were and still are with dialogue to end problems and differences within the Kurdish house."
