Yesterday, Monday, the media advisor to the Prime Minister, Hisham Al-Rikabi, denied rumors about the delay in the decision to exempt the first group of general managers, at a time when the “Euphrates Current” bloc in the House of Representatives revealed that the date for the cabinet change was close and that it would include all ministers and governors who did not their duties properly.
Al-Rikabi said in a tweet: "There is no truth to what was published regarding the delay in the decision to exempt those who were included in the Cabinet's decision related to the exemption of general managers." He added, "The matter is effective and there is no going back."
In a related context, the head of the "Euphrates Current" parliamentary bloc, Ruqaya al-Nouri, said in an interview with "Al-Sabah": "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani informed all blocs before forming the government that any nominated minister is subject to evaluation, and if (that minister) fails, he will be (Sudanese) is free to choose the alternative candidate.
She added, "The date for the ministerial change will be soon," and added, "The change will include any minister or governor who has not fulfilled his duty, and everyone is subject to evaluation."
For his part, the head of the Center for "Political Thinking", Dr. Ihsan Al-Shammari, said in an interview with "Al-Sabah": "The ministerial reshuffle is linked to the agreement of political forces and parties."
He added, "Since the government was formed by political agreement, the prime minister's desire may ultimately be to carry out a cabinet reshuffle, but it does not necessarily have to be completed or even accepted by political parties, especially since the evaluation of ministers, governors, agents, special grades, and general managers will create a crisis because it is low and indicates a failure for these." parties.”
He pointed out that "the evaluation revealed the failure of personalities supported by certain political parties, which will undermine their future and paint a picture that these parties presented unqualified personalities to manage positions," expressing his belief that "the task of reshuffling the cabinet is very difficult, and even in the issue of the appointment, it is linked level of agreement of political forces.
Al-Shammari stressed that "the ministerial reshuffle could be part of a deal, as the political forces are waiting for any event or legislative need for the government and some parties for the purpose of proceeding with a deal according to the concept of (one basket)," ruling out "allowing the political forces to make a comprehensive change, although the defect exists among them."
