Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Education announced its readiness to launch the website for granting and renewing licenses for civil institutions.
A statement by the Ministry stated, "In order to simplify procedures and achieve transparency, the Ministry of Education / General Directorate of Private and Foreign Education is preparing to launch a website for granting and renewing licenses for private educational institutions, which fall within the methods used to reduce routine and reduce negative phenomena that plague society."
He added, "The decision to transform the dealing systems electronically and to move away from paper-based transactions in granting licenses came in implementation of the decision of the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis al-Jubouri, and to withdraw the hand of the negligent, after meeting with a number of directors of private educational institutions," stressing "the serious endeavor to reduce corruption and serve the educational community."
He pointed out that "the Ministry of Education has recently started activating and launching many electronic projects that have contributed significantly to the high levels of integrity within educational institutions."
