    Shafaq News/ The Federal Integrity Commission managed to seize about (800) tons of materials used in drilling oil wells in Al-Ahdab field in Wasit Governorate.
    In its discussion of the details of the operation, which was carried out based on a judicial memorandum, the Commission’s Investigation Department stated that the Commission’s investigation office in Wasit Governorate formed a team to investigate and investigate information it had received stating that tons of materials used in drilling expired oil wells had accumulated in the warehouses of a company. Al-Ahdab oil field.



    And the department added that the team was able, after moving to the warehouses of the Oasis Oil Company affiliated to Al-Ahdab field, to seize chemicals in some of the company's stores, which were found to have expired and were not used, despite their purchase in previous periods, pointing out that these materials are a descaling agent in an amount (25) tons, and (17) tons of (Mdea), and (173) tons of walnut shells were seized, adding that the seized quantities of (Pam) amounted to (507) tons, and (44) tons of (Lcm), and (15) tons of substitution agent.
    And she continued by saying that the operation also resulted in seizing the initial purchase contracts for those materials, whose value amounted to (1,734,300) one million seven hundred and thirty-four thousand and three hundred dollars, which is approximately (2,000,289,000) two billion two hundred and eighty-nine thousand Iraqi dinars, according to the exchange rate. The current, while the seized materials were seized and expired, in the custody of the warehouse official in the Contracts Department inside Al-Ahdab oil field.
    The department noted that a formal record of the operation had been organized and presented, along with the seized exhibits, to the judge of the Investigation Court specialized in hearing cases of integrity in Wasit. In order to complete the legal procedures and determine the default party.
