    Information / Baghdad...
The silence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the lack of action regarding the border demarcation file with the Kuwaiti side may be the most prominent reasons that push it to violate Iraq's sovereignty and extract oil close to its territory.

Drilling was not carried out in an oblique way to obtain oil from under the Iraqi soil, and with what is happening now, the positions are still shy, as the responsible authorities did not take any position regarding the transgressions that occurred, at a time when parliamentary circles called for the internationalization of the issue in order to resolve the limits and its demarcation in order to prevent encroachment on the territory of Iraq.
The representative of the State of Law coalition, Alia Nassif, told Al-Maalouma, “The UN Security Council Resolution (833) related to the demarcation of the borders with Kuwait was issued while Iraq was under Chapter VII, and his presence under this chapter means that he is incapacitated, and today he has the legal opportunity to file a complaint.” Before the Security Council to reconsider, and not to cancel the decision to remove the outrageous injustice that befell him, especially the deprivation of his right to Khor Abdullah."

Nassif added, "The Sudanese government must not allow it to be absent from any negotiations related to borders, and it must be present and has the right to exercise its role as an international legal center in the issue of borders."
On the other hand, a member of the House of Representatives, Thaer Makheef, confirmed to Al-Maloumouh, that "history will not forget the personalities who bowed to the foreign decisions imposed by the United States of America, especially since there are many transgressions practiced by the Kuwaiti government on the Iraqi borders."
He added, "The weakness of the governments contributed to the transgression of some neighboring countries over Iraq's waters and skies, and now the oil fields, as it has become necessary to come out with a clear position on the file of the oil fields and the abuses practiced by Kuwait towards Iraq."
On the other hand, the Vice-Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Jabbar Al-Kinani, said in a televised statement, followed by Al-Maalouma, that "his committee is closely following the border demarcation file, and it has hosted the Minister of Foreign Affairs and discussed the demarcation of the maritime borders with him."

He added, "His committee indicated weakness and the lack of follow-up by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the border demarcation file," considering that "forfeiting Iraq's maritime rights is a betrayal of the country." ended 25 n
