    Baghdad today - Baghdad 
    Fadi Al-Shammari, advisor to the Prime Minister, confirmed today, Thursday (September 7, 2023), that political understandings and agreements are managed under the roof of the constitution, in reference to the outstanding issues between the governments of the center and the region. 
    Al-Shammari wrote in a tweet on the “X” platform, and “Baghdad Today” followed it, that “under the roof of the constitution, agreements and understandings are managed and nothing is above that,” adding: “From a standpoint of wisdom and strength, we took the initiative towards deep and transparent understandings with various political activities, especially the files.” The relationship between Baghdad and the region.”
    He added, "The government inherited a complex and intertwined file with the Kurdistan region and has committed to the etiquette of implementing the understandings with all love and wisdom, and good intentions are still present provided that the regional government adheres to the constitution and the rules of respect, flexible language, and transparency." 
    The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, said earlier today, Thursday (September 7, 2023), that Baghdad’s refusal to send our financial dues is a violation of constitutional agreements.
    Barzani, in a tweet via “X” and followed by “Baghdad Today,” stressed that “Baghdad’s refusal to send our financial dues confirmed in the federal general budget is a violation of constitutional agreements, harms our citizens, and undermines confidence.”
    The budget file and the disbursement of dues and oil revenues are the most prominent controversial files between Baghdad and Erbil, which the central government and the region sought to resolve to get out of the crisis.
