Representative Mudar Al-Karawi confirmed, on Thursday, that there are three determinants for implementing the salary scale for state employees.

Al-Karawi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “The large disparity in salaries between ministries and state institutions in Iraq is a grave mistake that has accumulated over many years and represents an injustice to the rights of a large segment.”
He added, "Implementing a fair salary scale in Iraq is a priority, and there is a parliamentary consensus to support it, but the matter is linked to 3 determinants that must be paid attention to, the most prominent of which is what additional amounts will be required to be increased to advance the peace, in addition to fair and equitable mechanisms for each employee, relying on specific paths, whether certificate, position, or Years of service".
He pointed out that "it is not possible to introduce the salary scale without deciding all the points and ensuring that its implementation will not create any crisis in the salary file for all state institutions."
Thousands of state employees are demanding the application of a fair salary scale between ministries and institutions that relies on specific points in determining salaries without regard to the background of the institution in which they work. Ended 25 F
