    [size=45]On Sunday, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani considered the International Development Road Project to strengthen the common ties between Iraq, Turkey and the countries of the region, noting that the project is one of the important and strategic projects that the government is focusing on.[/size]
    [size=45]His media office said in a statement, “Al-Sudani received the Turkish Minister of Transport, Abdelkader Oraloglu, who is visiting the capital, Baghdad, in order to mature the joint understandings between Iraq and Turkey regarding the development road project.”[/size]
    [size=45]He stressed during the meeting that “the development road project is one of the important and strategic projects that the government is focusing on,” indicating that “its implementation will strengthen the common ties between Iraq, Turkey and the rest of the countries of the region within the common interests,” noting that “the project is considered the best, shortest, and least expensive corridor in terms of transportation.” Transit and linking the Middle East to the European continent.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement explained that “Al-Sudani appreciated the enthusiasm of the Turkish side for participating in the major project,” stressing the necessity of “continuing technical dialogues between the two countries, to reach the economic model through which the project will be implemented.”[/size]
    [size=45]According to the statement, the Turkish Minister of Transport reiterated his country’s serious desire to “actively participate in the development road project,” expressing the Turkish government’s satisfaction with Iraq’s plans and essential steps, and its great and constructive efforts in the field of advancing and reforming the Iraqi economy.[/size]
    [size=45]Also, the Iraqi Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, discussed with Uraloglu the technical, legal and financial issues related to the development path.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement from the ministry stated that Al-Saadawi “held an expanded meeting in Baghdad, with Oraloglu and his accompanying delegation, to discuss the development road project.”[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that “a number of issues related to the development road project were discussed” with the Turkish minister, explaining that “the meeting discussed the technical, legal and financial issues.”[/size]
    [size=45]He stressed that “joint committees have been formed between Baghdad and Ankara to discuss technical, financial and legal issues, which will work to resolve any issues in order to begin work on implementing the project.” The two sides stressed, according to the statement, the importance of “conducting field visits to land and railway connection points between the two countries.”[/size]
    [size=45]As for Oraloglu, he began his speech by offering condolences and sympathy to the Iraqi government and people over the Hamdaniyah incident, stressing his country’s government’s support and support for Iraq, and its full readiness to provide any assistance that strengthens the relationship and cooperation between the two countries.[/size]
    [size=45]He reviewed the volume of trade exchange between Baghdad and Ankara, noting that “transport corridors are increasing day after day around the world.”[/size]
