For the first time... Hamas' attack plan on Israel was revealed and a "treasure" of documents was fo Lkerhglrkegher

{International: Al-Furat News} The Israeli authorities found documents containing detailed maps of the towns and military bases targeted by the Hamas movement, during its surprise attack on Israel, last Saturday, October 7, according to what the American newspaper “The Wall Street Journal” reported.
Israeli officials said that the authorities are “working to review and examine the documents,” which they described as a “treasure,” which are papers that include maps and tactical guides that identify weak points in the Israeli army’s equipment.
The documents indicate that Hamas "not only set out from the beginning to target military installations, but also aimed to attack civilian population centers and take hostages."
These documents, which Israel found among the movement’s militants who were killed inside its territory, provide evidence of “the extent of intelligence gathering carried out by Hamas, and the degree of planning for the attack.”
“They knew exactly what the targets were,” said Michael Milstein, a former Israeli military intelligence officer and head of the Palestine Studies Forum at Tel Aviv University.
He added in his interview with the American newspaper: “There is no planning at this level in any movements carried out by Hamas in the past.”
The attack launched by Hamas, which targeted civilians in addition to military headquarters, resulted in the killing of hundreds and the kidnapping of dozens, most of them civilians, including children and women.
The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation said that the number of Israeli deaths as a result of the Hamas attack had risen to more than 1,300 people. The Israeli response, which targeted large areas of Gaza, also resulted in the death of hundreds.
The Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed on Thursday that 1,537 Palestinians had been killed in Israeli air strikes on the besieged Strip since Saturday.
A 14-page document labeled “Top Secret,” written in Arabic and dated June 15, 2023, describes a plan to storm and take hostages from Kibbutz Mevalsim, a small agricultural community near the Hamas-controlled Palestinian enclave.
The document stated: “Two teams of 5 individuals and a commander will carry out the operation at an hour and day that have not been specified.” It also included maps and aerial photographs of the town and information stating that there are "a thousand civilians guarded by a volunteer Israeli security force."
The document warned that Israeli forces stationed nearby "could reach Mafalsim within 3 to 5 minutes."
In a press conference on Thursday, Israeli army spokesman Richard Hecht said that the army is “examining materials found with members of elite Hamas forces.”
It was not clear whether these were the same materials that the Wall Street Journal showed to Israeli officials.
Analysts said that some of the documents found indicate that Hamas "believed that it would face severe military resistance from Israeli forces stationed along the border."
Israel is being criticized in its intelligence and security aspects due to its inability to prevent this attack
    "Training in plain sight"
In a related context, an analysis conducted by the American network CNN of the activity of the Hamas movement, which has controlled Gaza since 2007, showed that the movement, which is classified as terrorist, “prepared for months through exercises that took place in 6 different locations” inside the coastal strip.
Two of these sites, including a training site shown in a video posted last December, were approximately two kilometers from the most fortified and heavily patrolled part of the border between Gaza and Israel, north of the Strip.
Among the other places where Hamas conducted its training, one site is located in central Gaza, while the other three sites are located in the far south of Gaza, far from the borders of Israel.
Satellite images reviewed by CNN over a period of two years showed no indication of offensive Israeli military action against any of the six identified sites.
Hamas' preparations for the attack included training in the movement's camps, in addition to some agricultural lands that were converted into barren areas for training in the past two years, as satellite images show.
The American network wondered why Israel was “incapable” of following up on the October 7 attack and stopping it, given that “Hamas trained in plain sight for at least two years.”
When CNN contacted the Israeli army for comment, its international spokesman, Jonathan Conricus, said that these findings were “not new.”
He added that Hamas "had many training areas" and that the Israeli army "bombed many training areas over the years in various rounds of escalation."
