Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi confirmed today, Friday (October 27, 2023), that the Zionist entity has already begun its ground attack on the Gaza Strip.
Al-Safadi said in a statement: Israel has just launched a ground war against Gaza. The result will be a humanitarian catastrophe of epic proportions for years to come. On the other hand, America disavowed the ground attack through a Pentagon spokesman in televised statements, saying: We are not part of any ground operation carried out by Israel.
Citing officials, Axios reported that the Israeli war council decided to expand the ground operation in Gaza after hostage negotiations faltered.
At the same time, the American CNN network reported from what it described as diplomatic sources familiar with the negotiations that “significant progress” had been made in the negotiations to release the Israeli detainees, but “there are still outstanding issues.”
White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby also told ABC that Washington is still working with its partners to release all detainees.
