The Central Bank of Iraq confirmed that the withdrawal ceilings for debit and credit bank cards are determined by the banks .
The Central Bank said in circulars addressed to banks, which Al-Iqtisad News reviewed, that the ceilings on operations related to debit cards and credit cards are subject to the bank’s internal policy .
The Central Bank of Iraq set the ceiling for withdrawals from prepaid cards at $300, with a balance of 10 million dinars, and $750 daily purchase volume from points of sale .
