    The Ministry of Education announced today, Tuesday, that the latest model schools have contributed to eliminating overcrowding in classes, while indicating that double classes in some schools are temporary.
    Ministry spokesman Karim Al-Sayed said, “Maintenance work in some schools is temporary, and its main purpose is to rehabilitate them within specific ceilings and periods, as the number of schools that are now in the rehabilitation process within the government program is approximately 2,000 schools,” indicating that “duplication The working hours in some schools are temporary until the maintenance and restoration work is completed, and then they move and the duplication is eliminated.”

    Al-Sayed added, "The recent model schools contributed greatly to eliminating bottlenecks, as well as dividing some schools," noting that "any new classroom or building is a solution to the issue of school buildings, which is one of the most important challenges facing the ministry."

    He pointed out that "the Ministry considers this year to be the year of school buildings, and it is the best performance, as since 2013 there has been no addition of new buildings or anything related to construction, and therefore today we are witnessing the entry of new schools into service, as well as the rehabilitation and restoration of other schools, all of which “It will reflect positively on the performance of the educational process in general.”
