    Today, Saturday, the Federal Integrity Commission confirmed that Iraq has taken serious, significant and unprecedented steps in the field of combating corruption, calling on international organizations to do justice to Iraq and obtain accurate data and numbers from reliable and impartial sources.
    The Commission stated in a statement, received by Al-Iqtisad News, “We participate with the countries and peoples of the world in celebrating the International Anti-Corruption Day, which falls on December 9 of every year, and in it we warn of the danger of this scourge on state institutions, on the services provided to citizens, and on the structure and values ​​of society.” This lesion resembles a cancerous gland that strikes an organ and from there infiltrates to the rest of the body’s other organs.”
    She explained, “Combating this scourge requires several requirements, some of which are legislative, some are executive measures, and others are of a diplomatic nature, in addition to a media and community momentum in which community activities and religious institutions participate, each in their location, specialty, and the groups they target.”
    She stressed, “The Republic of Iraq has taken great, serious and unprecedented steps in the field of combating corruption, and hardly any other country is ahead of us in this field, as reality, data and numbers have attested to, especially after the clear and clear harmony between the three authorities and regulatory bodies, and making combating corruption one of the first priorities.” Government programs and general policies of the state.
    The Integrity Commission called on international organizations and those concerned with measuring perceptions of corruption to “do justice to Iraq and obtain accurate data and numbers from reliable, impartial sources, to show that we have increased the level of oversight performance exponentially, whether at the level of reports and information, criminal cases, and seizure operations, as well as the aspect Preventive and dissemination Transparency and pursuing the financial liabilities of senior officials and ensuring whether or not they are inflated, and we have succeeded in this with great success after launching our major campaign (Where did you get this from), and that makes Iraq qualified to rise in the ranks in the reports of those organizations.”
    The Commission praised “the sacrifices of the soldiers of this battle and the brutal war whose banner is carried by the Federal Integrity Commission.
