A credit agency expects "strong growth" for oil exporters in the Middle East in 2024

Shafaq News/ Fitch Ratings Agency said on Monday that oil exporters in the Middle East and North Africa region will record stronger growth in 2024, thanks to the momentum in real non-oil GDP and the stability of oil production on a large scale.
In a report on 2024 forecasts for the Middle East and North Africa, Fitch explained that the conflict between Israel and Hamas still represents some risks of regional escalation.
She added that weak global growth in 2024 may push OPEC+ to further production cuts, if the oil market turns decisively into surplus.
