Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Transport reviewed the most important specifications and routes of the development road and the connecting points with Turkey, while indicating that the speed of the passenger train within the development road reaches 300 km per hour.
The Ministry of Transport said in a statement received by Al-Eqtisad News, “The director of the General Company for Iraqi Railways, Younis Khaled Jawad, met today with the director of the Iraq branch of the Korean company DAEWOOE,C, Hyunsuk Jung,” indicating that “Jawad was briefed on the most important specifications and paths of the development road and its specifications.” International, as the speed of the train for passengers reaches 300 km per hour, and check out the connection points with neighboring Turkey.”
Jawad stressed that "there is seriousness in implementing the development road project by the Iraqi government and the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi."

The meeting concluded with the desire of the branch director and his accompanying delegation in Iraq to study the implementation related to the development project route.
It is noteworthy that the General Railway Company is witnessing visits from representatives of countries around the world and expressing its desire to participate in the promising project, as the company received last Sunday the ambassador of Romania, while the project steps are proceeding according to the specified times, in terms of the provinces being free of conflicts and soil examinations.
