The Chiefs of Staff of the Iraqi Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, and the Frenchman, General Thierry Burcard, discussed the phase of military cooperation after the withdrawal of the international coalition.
A statement from the Ministry of Defense received by Mawazine News indicated that “cooperation and coordination were discussed at the military level (training - armament) after the end of the coalition mission and the transition to the next stage.”
He pointed out that “the discussion comes to strengthen the frameworks of bilateral cooperation in a way that enhances the capabilities of all armed forces.” Its types.
The Iraqi-American dialogue was launched on January 27 to “review the mission of the international coalition to combat ISIS,” and Iraq announced on February 11 that it would resume and continue periodically “as long as nothing disturbs the peace of the talks,” in reference to the American strikes.
