    [rtl]The Ministry of Commerce set the end of this month as the date for launching new programs that will make the unified national card itself a food ration card.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Trade, Sattar Al-Jabri, said, “The ministry recently launched the update of the electronic ration card and the conversion of work with it from paper to electronic, and stopped work on additions, sorting, transfer and division of the ration card so that the variables remain constant, and work began with it in a number of governorates, including Najaf, Baghdad, Karkh, Muthanna, Dohuk and Kirkuk,” noting that “there is a new trend to consider the unified card as a ration card itself by launching an electronic program that requires the citizen to update his data from his home without visiting any branch of the ration card, unlike what was in the previous program that required the citizen to visit with his family and their documents.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He pointed out that "the new program will be launched at the end of this month with follow-up by the Prime Minister, the Minister of Commerce, the ministerial team, cybersecurity specialists, the Ministry of Communications, and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers," stressing that "all specialized sectoral bodies were cooperative and made an exceptional effort so that the unified card would become a food ration card."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He explained that "the update will be done at home based on the application program without having to visit any branch or department affiliated with the Food Supply Authority," noting that "all deletion, division, additions, and other activities will be done through the electronic program." [/rtl]
    [rtl]He stressed that "the ministry has been working on this system for months, and the data of approximately more than 40 million citizens has been updated and their data has been fully organized," adding that "the program is now ready for launch." [/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He added that "the update will be launched initially throughout Iraq, and then other activities will follow, such as sorting, dividing, adding, and transferring, after the data update process is completed and the unified card itself becomes a ration card," noting that "as part of the program, the head of the family will be informed of receiving the ration from the agent, and he will indicate to the ministry that his share has been received, and those who have not received it will also indicate this for travelers and those with high incomes."[/rtl]
    [rtl]He explained that "through this update, there will be an intersection of data, as the names of the deceased and repeated names will appear to us."[/rtl]
