    Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Finance in the Kurdistan Region announced, on Wednesday, that the employees’ salary schedule had been sent to the capital, Baghdad. 
    The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, that it "sent today the salary schedule for salaried employees in the Kurdistan Region to the Ministry of Finance in the federal government."

    The day before yesterday, Monday, an informed source revealed to Shafaq News Agency, a move to open banks affiliated with the federal government, in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, in preparation for the localization of the salaries of Kurdish employees.
    On 2/21/2024, the Federal Supreme Court, the highest judicial authority in Iraq, decided to oblige Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, Prime Minister of the Federal Council, and Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, to localize the salaries of employees and workers in the public sector with federal banks.
