Informed political sources revealed, today, Monday, that the head of the Taqadum Party, Muhammad al-Halbousi, called for an urgent meeting of the party’s leaders within the next 72 hours.

The sources told Al-Maalouma Agency, “The party is going through difficult situations with heated disagreements between its leaders and the emergence of a rift that may lead to major splits in light of the coalition losing the momentum of its youth and tribal ties supporting it amid stagnation in all its meetings for months.”
He added, "Al-Halbousi called for a meeting with its leaders to discuss the party's deteriorating conditions."
During the recent period, the party witnessed wholesale defections within its ranks, in objection to Al-Halbousi’s policy and the way he dealt with crises. End 25F
