Alsumaria News - Politics

The Parliamentary Planning Committee revealed, today, Tuesday, the diagnosis of goals that the government has given a lot of attention and priority to, despite the fact that they are outside the government program, which led to the weakness of implementing the government program in the required manner.

The head of the committee, Laila Al-Tamimi, said in an interview with Sumaria News, "The committee implemented many hosting sessions during the first and second legislative terms, and a report was prepared for a full year of the current government's life."

She confirmed that "mistakes were recorded in implementing the government program, represented by the procrastination of projects and the government's failure to focus on important priorities, including administrative and financial corruption, in addition to the existence of targets that the government gave importance to, despite them being outside the framework of the government program, and the government cared about them more than the program."

She explained that "the report will be based on the government's responses, and it is currently in the review phase and will be voted on within the committee and then presented to the members of the House of Representatives in general."

She pointed out that "there are many failures of the ministers, especially in the method of preparing the plans more than the failure in the implementation processes, and there are deviations in some projects and they were mentioned with high transparency in the report."

He considered that "we will come out with all the recommendations in the final report of the government, but the final procedures are left to the government to determine them as it is the executive authority concerned with taking measures."

A year and a half has passed since the term of Al-Sudani's government, who promised in his government program to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the ministers within a year and review them, but no minister has been replaced or evaluated, unlike what happened to the general managers.

Observers believe that the measures affected the general managers, as most of them have been assigned to their positions for years and according to old political agreements, while the ministers are distributed according to their positions according to new political agreements that led to the formation of Al-Sudani’s government, which prevents the latter from making “surprises” regarding the political agreement or creating hostility with the political blocs that formed his government.
