    The Board of Commissioners of the Communications and Media Commission voted on Tuesday on a new mechanism for collecting fees from Arab and foreign media professionals coming to Iraq.

    The Commission said in a statement, "The Board of Commissioners of the Communications and Media Commission held its regular session, headed by Bassam Al-Zaidi, with the attendance of the members of the Board of Commissioners, to discuss the proposals and projects included in its agenda."
     
    The statement added, "The Board of Commissioners voted on a new mechanism to collect fees for Arab and foreign media personnel arriving in Iraq from border crossings to cover the Arbaeen pilgrimage, as they are allowed to enter and then the fees are collected before leaving the country."
