    Al-Maalouma/ Exclusive..
Judge Wael Abdul Latif accused the Minister of Oil on Thursday of hiding what is behind the Aqaba pipeline.
Abdul Latif said in a statement to / Al-Maalouma / agency, "The Minister of Oil did not answer any question about the benefit of Aqaba for the country and is trying to hide what is behind this pipeline," noting that "the Aqaba pipeline will waste Iraq's oil due to external dictates from the Zionist entity countries."
He continued, "The country's economic policy has been faltering since 2003 due to poor planning and referring projects to unsound companies," calling on the government to disclose to the people the feasibility of sovereign projects since the country's wealth belongs to the people alone and they are the ones who determine its fate through their representatives in Parliament. It is
noteworthy that the Iraqi government included in the 2024 budget an oil pipeline project from Basra to Aqaba in Jordan, which specialists considered to mean that the pipeline is not economically feasible for the country and came according to external dictates. End 25/C
