The Border Ports Authority announced, today, Friday, new statistics regarding the number of visitors arriving in Iraq during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
The spokesman for the ports, Alaa Al-Din Al-Qaisi, said in a statement to the official agency, “The number of arrivals from August 6, 2024 until August 22, through 10 ports, which are (Safwan, Shalamcheh, Al-Shaib, Zurbatiyah, Al-Mundhiriyah, Al-Qaim, Baghdad Airport, Najaf Airport, Haj Omran, Bashmagh), amounted to 3,280,169 visitors.”
He added, "The number of visitors leaving through these ports for the above-mentioned period amounted to [url=tel:1878533]1,878,533[/url] ."
