A statement from Al-Mandlawi's office, received by Sumarya News, stated that the latter "met today with the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and discussed the general situation in the country and developments in the political, security and economic scene, and stressed the necessity of continuing to coordinate joint work in order to consolidate security and stability and meet the needs of citizens."
According to the statement, Al-Mandlawi expressed "the House of Representatives' keenness to follow up on draft laws submitted by the executive authority for the purpose of discussing and approving them, stressing its support for enhancing cooperation between the House of Representatives and the Presidency of the Republic."
In turn, the President of the Republic stressed "the importance of enhancing the existing cooperation between the Presidency of the Republic and the House of Representatives in the field of legislation, while focusing on the priority of submitting projects that serve citizens and meet their aspirations."
