"Investment" denies rumors about the connection of residential cities to the Ministry of Construction and Housing

The National Investment Commission denied, on Friday, what was circulated regarding the withdrawal of residential cities from it and its connection to the Ministry of Construction and Housing.
The authority said in a statement obtained by Al-Eqtisad News, "What was circulated by some social media pages of media statements regarding the withdrawal of residential cities from it and its connection to the Ministry of Construction and Housing, describing it as an ill-considered and wrong decision, is incorrect information and was not reported by the official spokesman or any other party affiliated with the authority."
It affirmed its "commitment to what was drawn up for it in accordance with Investment Law No. 13 of 2006, as amended, and its support for all coordinated efforts in the sectors and departments concerned with economic activity," calling on the media and social media pages to "exercise accuracy and objectivity in conveying information."
The Authority explained that it "will take the necessary measures against any media outlet that deliberately transmits incorrect and inaccurate information that could negatively affect the form of the mutual and solid relationship between all state institutions."
