The Civil Service Council confirmed that the Ministry of Health has begun coordinating with the Ministry of Finance to create job titles and grades to accommodate the remaining medical and health professionals.
The official spokesman for the council, Saad Al-Lami, said in a statement to the official newspaper, which was followed by (Mawazine News): "The meeting held by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani with the head of the council, Mahmoud Al-Tamimi, came to follow up on the measures taken by the council to appoint holders of higher degrees and top graduates, as well as the measures taken to legally adjust the appointment of health and medical professionals." He added that "the council recently received from the Ministry of Health data to employ more than 29,000 health and medical professionals for specific and specific specialties, as they were approved by the council and the names were sent to the Ministry of Health to distribute them among health institutions, noting that the total number of graduates of this category is 57,000 graduates." He explained that "the Prime Minister adopted the file and asked the council to find legal ways to employ the rest of them," noting that "the Ministry of Health, in light of this, began coordinating with the Ministry of Finance to create titles and job grades that accommodate the rest of them." Al-Lami indicated that "in the event that the data is completed and sent to the council, it will in turn approve it to distribute them among the institutions "By the Ministry of Health." He also explained that "the meeting also focused on the file of the top students and holders of higher degrees, and that the Prime Minister directed all state institutions to send their job needs to the council to accommodate all the specializations of the applicants with higher degrees and top students with the aim of employing them," noting that "work is underway by the council to create job grades by the Ministry of Finance, especially since there are between 6 and 7 thousand graduates from the top students and holders of higher degrees who have not been employed, as this file will be completed during the current month." The spokesman explained that "the council is about to start the third phase of employment during the month of October, which includes collecting new data for the outputs of the past and current years for holders of higher degrees and top students, and the system for granting codes will be opened after comparing the data with the Financial Supervision Bureau in order to complete the process until everyone is accommodated," explaining that "many applicants obtained a university order for appointment until mid-June of last year, as the council requested their data from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to send it to the Financial Supervision Bureau in order to compare it and verify that they are not employees or contractors to enter them "In the current recruitment phase."
