Al-Maalomah obtained a document related to the mechanism for destroying dangerous chemical, biological and military waste in the Gharraf oil field in Dhi Qar Governorate.
The document indicates that the waste was not destroyed properly, as it was placed in exposed basins close to residential areas and waterways, which poses a health risk.
The destruction process was also referred to unspecialized and non-governmental companies, in violation of government decisions. End25
