The Ministry of Finance called on Tuesday those who purchased (construction/reconstruction/achievement) bonds to visit the bank branches through which the bonds were purchased.
A statement from the ministry received by Mawazine News stated that "the Public Debt Department at the Ministry of Finance calls on all individuals, banks and companies who purchased (construction/reconstruction/achievement) bonds to visit the bank branches through which the bonds were purchased, in order to receive the due interest amounts that are distributed on a semi-annual basis. This call comes as part of the Ministry of Finance's keenness to guarantee the rights of investors and provide them with regular returns."
The statement added that "all investors should take the initiative to go to the relevant bank branches as soon as possible to complete the procedures for receiving the interest. Bring the required documents, which may include a bond purchase certificate or any other documents confirming the purchase process."
The Public Debt Department stressed the "importance of this step to ensure that the due amounts are obtained accurately and smoothly, according to the following details:
● Construction bonds (first issue) - 1 million dinars category.
● Reconstruction bonds (first issue) - categories: 500,000 dinars and 1 million dinars.
● Achievement bonds (first issue) - categories: 500,000 dinars and 1 million dinars."
