Strange press reports on Tuesday indicated that Germany is seeking, through a “secret” agreement with the capital, Baghdad, to remove Iraqi Kurdish refugees from its country.
The Iranian Mehr News Agency website quoted a report from the German magazine BNI Intelligence claiming that the German state wants, in addition to urging Iraqi Kurdish refugees to voluntarily return to their regions and countries, to start a campaign to forcibly deport these refugees at the same time.
According to the magazine, Germany and Iraq signed an agreement to deport refugees, under which 70 Iraqi Kurdish refugees have been deported to their country so far.
The magazine confirmed that German officials used the reconstruction and wealth enjoyed by the Kurdistan Region as a pretext to issue deportation orders for nearly 26,000 Iraqi refugees by the end of 2023.
