Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Minister of Woman Affairs, Ibtehal Kasid al-Zaidi, set the corner stone for the Iraqi martyr monument in Kadhimiya area near 14th July Park.She reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com, during the celebration which was organized by Baghdad Mayorship in cooperation with the Immortals feminist forum within Martyrs Foundation, that “With the blessed efforts exerted by Martyrs Foundation in cooperation with Baghdad Mayorship, the Minister of Woman Affairs set the corner stone for the Iraqi female martyr monument in Kadhimiya,” noting that “The monument includes the names of the Iraqi martyrs registered in the martyrs foundation from the victims of the former regime.””The Acting Mayor of Baghdad, Naem Aboob, praised the Ministry of Woman Affairs for submitting this suggestion to establish the martyr monument, ” pointing out that “Baghdad Mayorship is proud to immortalize the memory of honor Iraq martyr women,” the statement added. \END\
