Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Maha al-Dori, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend accused the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki of “Attempting at keeping his post by amending the Debaathification law.”
She stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Maliki ignored the rights of the victims who were killed by the former regime to achieve his goal by getting a third term as the premier of Iraq by amending the Debaathification law.”
“Unfortunately some SLC MPs objects condemning amending this law because they are the beneficiaries from amending it where some of their relatives were included in this law and they will receive the posts once again,” she added.
“The ministers of al-Ahrar bloc did not vote on this law and we will do our best not to endorse it in the parliament,” she concluded.
