Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -Turkey condemned the bombings of Monday in Iraq which killed and injured dozens of people.
A statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry cited on Monday “With deep sorrow, we received the news about the death of more than 30 persons while more than 200 others left wounded according to initial reports during the terrorist attacks that targeted different areas of Iraq on last Monday.”
“We strongly condemn these outrageous crimes which aim to abort the democracy in Iraq and create chaos prior to the upcoming local elections scheduled on 20th, current April,” according to the statement.
The Turkish FM stressed “Turkey’s willingness to do its role in achieving the internal peace, stability in Iraq, combating the terrorism and enhancing the democracy in the country.”
