Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki discussed with a Russian delegation means of cooperation in fields of energy and armament fields.
A statement by Maliki’s office cited Wednesday “Maliki received at his official office in Baghdad a Russian delegation headed by Director General of the Russian Rosetec Establishment, Sergi Shimizove, and comprised Russian officials and chairmen of Russian companies.”
Both sides discussed means of mutual cooperation in electricity, oil and military sectors, the statement added.
“The Prime Minister Maliki emphasized the importance of developing the Iraqi-Russian relations,” the statement concluded.
