    04:33:25 03/19/2016 |(Voice of Iraq) - Mohammed Alekht - Stockholmrevived Iraqi embassy in Sweden the 28th anniversary of the crime ofHalabja on Wednesday ,March 19 ,2016 in one of the halls ofStockholm, in an official ceremony attended by thediplomatic corps at theIraqi Embassy ,led by Iraq 'sambassador to the Kingdom ofSweden , Mr. Baker Fattah Hussein, as attended by anumber of ambassadors, diplomats and representatives of foreign embassies located in Sweden, as arepresentative of the Swedish parliament, and a number of representatives of the Iraqi political forces ,cultural andIraqi media figures, the number of the Iraqi community who are in Stockholm.included Hits several paragraphs, event began with a speech welcoming theattendees presented Master ofceremonies Atra in April, where he called on everyone minute ofsilence to stand up to mourn the martyrs ofHalabja and all the martyrs ofIraq, then were presented film about Halabja simulated history of thecity and then what has happened in the crime heinous, then the artist Nazim Ali playing the flute sad tells the tragedy ofHalabja . In order not torepeat the crime of Halabja , we have to remember always, we will not forget tofuture generations thecity of Halabja , the wounded, where the dictatorial Baathist regime shelled the city on 16 Amaraam 1988 poison gas and internationally banned, claimed thelives of five thousand martyrs of unarmed civilians ,children, women, theelderly and injured ten thousand others were displaced thousands of our countrymen of Kurds forcibly removed from their homes, have rocked the crime of human conscience everywhere. thefirst speaker was the Middle East isresponsible in the Swedish Ministry ofForeign Affairs Ms. Anne Desmor, where he expressed deep sorrow Sweden at thetime , what happened in Halabja, Commonwealth of what ishappening today by Daash of crimes in thearea, then amember of theSwedish parliament , Mr. Serkan Koussa ,who thanked the embassy for the invitation and stressed occur that theworld will never forget Halabja never, and then the word of theDean of theArab diplomatic corps in Sweden 'sambassador to Lebanon , Ali Ajami, which Irecall a crime ofHalabja, in thepoignant lyrics spoke about thecrime ofHalabja andother crimes committed in Palestine, Ghana and other parts of the world, and in order not torepeat that wemust not forget these crimes. it was to theRepresentation of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Sweden, aspeech Mr. Shoresh capable Rahim, which in which he referred to thesize of thedestruction and devastation inflicted on thecity of Halabja and the tragedy of its people and thedisplacement ofsurviving them.the last speaker was the Iraqi ambassador ,Mr. Baker Fattah Hussein, thanked in his speech , theaudience for having accepted the invitation to commemorate the tragedy, which he referred to thecrime and its dimensions, and theconsequences that I got then the other criminal acts, and theinfamous Anfal operations. The perpetuation of the crime ofbombing thecity of Halabja chemical weapons by theformer regime, today we have to beware of asylum Daash terrorist organization to the use ofinternationally banned weapons inresponse to what incurred from defeats. It came in aspeech ((previous speeches delivered by my friends explained indetail the size of the tragedy and thegenocide that took place in all parts of Iraq. I do not want to repeat this information, but I want to tell apersonal story of what I saw in the tragedy of the use ofchemical weapons. It has been said to be happy requires two things arenecessary. first; good health. Secondly; alack of memory.I remember exactly on March 23 , 198 trees were foliate just, and the earth was covered withgreen grass and flowers blooming. theweather was typical for spring Kurdish beautiful, the temperature about 20 degrees. I on avisit to my friends, who were tired after a long drive, followed theexit of the first Anfal operation. we were discussing their needs, and suddenly noticed six planes bombed the area. when the bombs went off, we noticed the increase ofyellow and white smoke billowed upwards. Iknew immediately that these bombs were chemical , so I had studied chemistry. the initial reaction is the demand of my friends toleave theimmediate area in the opposite direction of thewind. after my return to my home in themountains, which was actually at that point our refuge, Inoticed my wife Kzal They caressed a newborn lamb, aged between only 5-6 days.had covered theface of thedepositary pregnancy with a damp cloth to protect it from inhaling thedeadly gas.what amazed me most was what happened on the second day, where hedied all fly into, and the trees were bare, and spring water contaminated ... but make us depositary survived the disaster and stayed alive for good luck.ladies and gentlemen, we are here today to remember the occasion, and to affirm that the world will never forget these victims. This reminder is act as a deterrent for offenders in the future, and to call for theprohibition ofcrimes against humanity. If the reactions of theinternational community isstrong in denouncing the chemical attacks and condemnation at the time, what we will see repeated now. So that our people still faces another kind at thepresent time from chemical attacks committed by chemical terrorism derived from the terrorist organization (Daash), which we call ( State Allaasalamah).Last chemical attacks have caused theevents of thechaos in the city of Taza. This matter is in fact, a global threat and requires avoluntary act, collectively, and crucial - not just empty words only. Is atime for action now ..)) In conclusion Many vigil to remember themartyrs of thecrime, then themaster ofceremonies thanked everyone for their participation this crime ofHalabja effectiveness, and invited them to eat.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
