Oil fields Authority in Dhi Qar province said today that Malaysia's Petronas invested for the Garraf oil field contract with the Iraqi Drilling Company to drill 15 oil wells.
According to director of Dhi Qar fields body cream Yasser said in a statement seen by the news agency of our economy, that the contract concluded between the two parties is the second in less than a year, where Petronas already contracted with the same company for the drilling of 12 wells in Garraf oil field.
And between Yasser said the number of wells drilled in the field, it rose to 40 oil wells, which would increase the production of the field in the next few months.
