A security source in Anbar Governorate announced today, Tuesday, the arrival of a convoy carrying American vehicles and equipment to Ain al-Assad base, coming from Dhi Qar Governorate.
The source told Al-Maalouma Agency, “A large American convoy carrying military vehicles coming from Dhi Qar Governorate arrived at Ain Al-Asad air base in Al-Baghdadi district of Hit district, west of Anbar.”
The source added, "The process of moving the convoy from Dhi Qar Governorate to Ain al-Assad base was accompanied by American aircraft flying over the areas where the convoy was located to protect it and reach its place of stability."
He continued, "American security companies are delaying the delivery of this equipment while the soldiers are transported by air to the Ain al-Asad air base and from there to the areas where the American forces are located," stressing that "the movement of American forces' convoys has decreased significantly during the last period."
