    Baghdad today - Kurdistan
Kurdish politician Sardar Mustafa confirmed today, Tuesday (June 25, 2024), that the chances of independents have increased and they will get good seats in the Kurdistan Parliament elections.
Mustafa said in an interview with "Baghdad Today" that "the government's failure to provide services and the successive crises that the Kurdish citizen is experiencing in terms of financial, service, political and social aspects are all encouraging factors for the rise of independent candidates."
He added, "The chances of the independent candidates will be high, because the Kurdish people went through a new experience, after electing the same parties and re-electing them on many occasions, and today they want a new experience with the independents, so that they may be able to change the bitter reality that the people of the Kurdistan region are experiencing."
